Adopt a Quiver Tree
This variant is currently sold out.
The Quiver Tree derives its name from the traditions of the San people of Namibia, who commonly used the hollow branches to make quivers for their arrows. The tree has a single white stem that can be up to five metres tall and its crown consists of branches that carry a number of brown-green, boat-shaped leaves. Between the months of April and June, the tree flowers, producing bright yellow blooms.
Become part of reintroducing this endangered plant into the landscape within the Gondwana Canyon Park by purchasing a small tree from our very own Quiver Tree nursery located at the Fish River Canyon in Namibia.
